Dear Friends and Clients,

Le Livre de Cave is delighted to invite you to an exceptional Gustus Evening, dedicated to the discovery of five outstanding Chardonnays from China’s most prestigious wine regions, a rare tasting experience.
(These terroirs are featured in the renowned 8th edition of The World Atlas of Wine.)

Guided by talented oenologists, you will explore the unique expressions of these terroirs:

- Ningxia, Helan Mountains – the largest wine-growing region in China, renowned for the quality of its wines.

- Yunnan, Shangri-La – a high-altitude vineyard (2,800 to 6,000 meters) in the Tibetan mountains, celebrated for its rare and exceptional wines.

A few focus domains:

  • Silver Heights – China’s first biodynamic estate (founded in 1997), certified Demeter. A rare production of just 6,000 bottles per year, grown at 1,200 m on the Gobi Desert soils. With 3,200 hours of sunshine annually and strong diurnal temperature shifts, it produces wines of remarkable purity.
  • Fei Tswei Lava – Chardonnay 2022 from Ningxia’s Helan Mountains, cultivated at 1,145–1,162 m on Gobi Desert soils. This Chardonnay was awarded as one of the “Best Chardonnays” at the RVF China competition.
  • Moon Palace – 0.5 ha in Shangri-La (2,700–2,900 m). Sandy, clay, and stony soils. Crafted by oenologist Mr. Luo Chenyu, who maked wines for Domaine Aoyun (the prestigious LVMH estate in China).

Price: 50 per person – limited seats available! Kindly reserve your place in advance to secure your participation.

Warm regards,
Le Livre de Cave
