New Arrival : Domaine Marie et Pierre Bénetière

We are delighted to welcome to the Livre de Cave the wines of Domaine Marie et Pierre Bénetière, a true hidden gem of Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu.
Established on just 3 hectares of vineyards, the estate produces an extremely limited quantity of wines each year, renowned for their finesse and authenticity. Founded in the late 1980s, the vineyard was built around the Cordeloux lieu-dit, and later complemented by a few parcels in Condrieu and a micro-plot in Côte Brune, at the heart of an iconic terroir.
The estate’s flagship wine, “Le Dolium”, is a true rarity: produced from a single barrel, it is only made in the very best vintages.
Planted on steep, dramatic slopes, the vines are entirely worked by hand, without herbicides, and have been farmed organically since 2003. In the cellar, a natural and low-intervention approach allows the terroir to express itself fully, resulting in wines of remarkable aromatic purity, silky tannins, and refined elegance.
